BEHIND THE LENS

La luce è quella porzione di energia elettromagnetica compresa tra i 380 e i 680 nanometri. Luce e colore hanno solo un significato psicologico, in quanto esistono a seguito dell’interazione fra una porzione di energia e un sistema sensoriale che si è evoluto in modo da tener conto di quella parte dell'energia e delle sue variazioni. La realtà cambia a seconda del punto di vista dalla quale la si osserva “Non appena ci spostiamo da quel punto, struttura e stabilità vengono meno e abbiamo la netta impressione che l’ordine visto prima si vada disgregando nel caos che vediamo adesso, solo perché "abbiamo cambiato punto di vista.” Una percezione può essere indotta da un numero indefinito di condizioni stimolatorie differenti. Il mondo percepito è perciò il risultato di una ricostruzione attiva, sulla base di suggerimenti provenienti dagli stimoli, piuttosto che la loro registrazione passiva.

L’organizzazzione figurale è spesso un processo olistico di riorganizzazzione complessiva.

 

Light is that portion of electromagnetic energy, lying within 380 and 680 nanometres. Light and colour both only have a psychological meaning, because they exist thanks to the interaction of a portion of energy and a sensorial system, which evolved in order to be activated by this part of energy and its variations. Reality changes according to the point of view from which this reality is observed. As soon as we move from that point of view, structure and stability decrease and we get the clear impression that the previous order is being transformed in chaos, only because “we changed our point of view”. Perception can be induced by an undefined number of different stimulating impulses. The world as we perceive it is therefore the result of an active reconstruction of suggestions originating from these stimuli, rather than of a passive registration. The figurative organization is often a holistic process of total reorganization.
